Setup

Load a clip from a USB stick, cast it from your phone, or play it from the built-in file browser.

Why a window
A projector aimed at a wall is a movie. Aimed at a window from the inside, it becomes a figure standing in your house, seen from the pavement. That is the whole trick — and it is why the picture has to be bright enough to survive the glass.

Yes, but the picture is much stronger on something the light can land on. A light blind, a net curtain or a white sheet works well; bare glass scatters the image and it looks faint from outside. We sell a rear-projection sheet that solves it properly.
No — and that is the point. The projector sits indoors and throws the image onto the inside of the glass. Nothing is exposed to rain, and nobody can walk off with it.
Roughly 1 to 4 metres from the window, depending on how big you want the figure. Around 2 metres fills an average front window. Keystone correction squares the image if you have to sit it off to one side.
Any video file. Put clips on a USB stick and plug it into the back, mirror your phone over Wi-Fi, or use the built-in file browser. Our Vault add-on gives you 40 looping scenes made for window projection if you would rather not hunt for footage.
